Apple is set to release cut/copy/paste feature for iPhones and a special ‘Spotlight’ search function

According to Apple Inc. the company will update the iPhone software so users can now cut, copy and/or paste text. According to the company this simple computing feature is not present in what is popular as all-in-one gadget.

On Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at an iPhone event for media people at the company headquarters, the company made this announcement It further swears to broaden its policies so there will be a hassle free building and selling of third-party software for the device.

Programmers could create apps for sale of eBooks and for further levels of games. But it is the cut/copy/paste option that really helps the users who ever since the gadget was launched have been wondering why the feature was absent in the smart gadget. It will now be a breeze to get these operations on a touch-screen interface. The 3rd generation software is due for release the coming summer so users can take information from laptops or internet and enables them to move text within several applications

The new software for an iPod Touch will ask one to pay $9.95 and is a free download for iPhones. Apple also want to add a feature called ‘Spotlight’ which enables users to scout for information within many applications in one go such as the iTunes, notes and the calendar.
