Rafael Nadal, wins the ATP Masters title at Indian Wells beating Andy Murray in straight sets 6-1 and 6-2. It must have been an unexpected defeat for the Scot and windy Californian weather favored the Spaniard to crush Andy. Nadal stayed focused and agile all through the match and wins in about 80 minutes time. Andy didn’t play his best.

Despite the loss, the Scot leaves Indian Wells with some respite having defeated Roger Federer in the Semi final match. He admittedly told post match, “I don’t feel like I’m that disappointed just now with how the week went, because I wasn’t expecting to do that well.”
On the other hand Rafael has 33 ATP tour wins and 13 elite Masters titles.

In the women’s match it was the fourth seed Vera Zvonareva who won the match against former world number one Ana Ivanovic in straight sets 7-6 (7/5) and 6-2.
