Lance Armstrong Breaks Collarbone
The road to cycle now seems getting rougher for the cancer-stricken Lance Armstrong who now broke his clavicle bone.

Young cyclists coming into cycling competitions and harrowing experiences with cancer and now this collarbone injury Lance will have to pedal through tough along road of troubles. What is more concerning is whether after the collarbone surgery that’s warranted, will Lance be able to contend in his eighth Tour de France event in July 2009.
The strong cyclist writes on his Twitter feed, “I’m alive and the broken clavicle (right). Hurts like hell for now. Surgery in a couple of days. Thanks for all the well wishes.”
Lance Armstrong is now on his way back to his home country after being out of Vuelta of Castilla and the Leon stage cycle race in Spain. He is knocked out of the race and his calendar will now feature some changes if not worse for his fans. The quicker he gets the surgery done the better for him so he gets some extra time for rehab and then to be on tracks soon.
The Giro d’Italia starts from May 9 and the Tour de France starts from July 4th. If not for the Tour de France, at least as of now looks like he is going to miss the Giro event.
