Acer Android Phone Coming Soon in September
If industry reports are to be taken seriously, Acer might unveil the Android phone with touch screen functionality during September 2009.
The Taiwanese PC manufacturer did not get into details but as of now we only that the phone will be given ‘A1’ name and it does give a feeling that A1 will be the Asian’s first T mobile G1 version.
What might be more surprising is that by the time A1 Android phone is unleashed, there might be a couple of its contenders in the line mostly from the Motorola, HTC and Samsung and we know that these are in the making of Android-like devices and Acer will have competition stacked up before it releases its touch screen Android phone.
The Taiwan PC maker, Acer had joined the wagon of smartphones recently after its takeover of the E Ten Information Systems Co. It has recently unveiled windows functioning 4 new mobile handsets.
