If you have nothing else occupying you for the weekend, go grab some popcorn and head straight towards a theatre showing Barah Aana. Naseeruddin shah has proved yet again why he is one of the very few versatile genius remaining in Bollywood. Add to it Vijay raaz, perfection is in his dialog delivery and expression, he is truly one person whom every comedy film maker would like to direct.

‘Barah Aana’ gives you a funny look at the slummers from Daravi. The lead characters - Shukla(Naseeruddin Shah) a taxi driver,(Yadav) Vijay Raaz as a watchman and Aman (Arjun Mathur from luck by chance) as a waiter are good friends dealing and discussing life ‘s own problems. Shukla is a decent old man while Yadav a middle aged watchman, is very a very mishievous person, apart from being a pushover at work. Destiny adds thrill to the frivolous life of the three friends, when a series of incidents brings in misfortune for Yadav.

Being unhappy with his helplessness when sick, the watchman ends up kidnapping a man, and earns 30 grands as ransom. Seemingly it proves to be a low-risk way of making money. He then invites his other two friends also into the league. The trio then join hands to make that easy and quick buck until they decide to call it quits. Vowing to the temptaion they however decide to hang up the shoes after one last act. Now that is one part which you would definately like to miss. Watch the movie to find out if they succeed. The rhythm of the movie is never broken with some senseless songs, kudos to director  Raja Menon for refreaining from sneaking a song just for the heck of it.

Though not alugh riot as one might expect, but the film highlights in a lighter way the sorry plight of the three protagonists. Overall a decent movie with good performances which leaves behind a smiling you :) Its a sola aana paisa wasool movie.
