Mumbai Indians Team – IPL 2009
It would be fair to say that the Mumbai Indians had failed to live up to their expectations in the first season of the IPL, and Sachin Tendulkar’s absence from the initial bit of the tournament
had at least something to do with it.
For some reason, in his absence, Harbhajan was made the captain and the team could never “recover” from those initial losses and crashed out. This time the things could be slightly different with Tendulkar’s return, and some of the new recruits to the side: not to forget the assigning of Shaun Pollock as the coach/adviser.
J.P.Duminy’s inclusion at a whopping cost of $9,50,000 would be forgotten if he could repeat his Aussie-magic. His biggest asset is his ability to contribute in all three departments. Mohammad Ashraful may not get too many games, but someone who may is Zaheer Khan, a swapping with Robin Uthappa. Dhawal Kulkarni and Kyle Mills will form the bowling trio for Mumbai.
MI’s best chance would be at the top of the order, where they would be repeated by Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasuriya. This could very well be a huge disadvantage as well, as the Delhi DareDevils had found to their dismay. Shikhar Dhawan will most definitely make it to number three, and may take on the role of the glue that binds the batting.
All in all, a team with a good chance to make it to the knock-out

Mumbai Indians Promo

Rajasthan Royals it a team which has a very odd opening batsman combination with Giant like Greame Smith and short and explosive Swapnil Asnodkar. Asnodkar attacks the bowlers to keep the momentum going while Smith hits a boundry or two when he gets strike. One-down comes dangerous Shane Watson. Then comes the kaif,Ravindra Jadeja, Hard-hitter Yusuf Pathan, With such an explosive batting line-up, i wont be surprised if the make it to the semi’s this time also…
Mumbai Indians is a good team. I and Sachin open the innings. We always try to have a good start. We make it a point to hit a six every over inorder to post a score of atleast 175 plus; which is a bit easy to defend. “Actually i hit big sixes and immediately turn my head to see the cheerleaders dancing. I am very very happy to see cheerleaders in tight panties, or even in mini-skirts… That does not matter to me as long as i get to see them cheering…. If you ask me thats the true secret of my hard-hitting batting.. This time we will try are level best to get to the finals so that I get an opportinuty to see the sexy cheerleaders. ” I Love Mumbai Indians !”
As you all know that our team “Mumbai Indians” is very strong. We beat Rajasthan Royals, CSK, RCB, Delhi daredevils etc; We lost both are matches to Kings Xl Punjab(one of which we lost by 1 run) In that match i opened the innings as usual with Sachin, i also hit a six in the first over but then my eyes caught up with one sexy cheerleader who winked at me, i smiled -but then she sent me a flying kiss.. I could not resist the temptation so i gave away my wicket…
We want to see Ashraful in the team.
