Dus Ka Dum Season 2 – Salman Khan
Dus Ka Dum is quite a hit that Sony had seen in its TRP charts. The hit prompted its producer for Dus Ka Dum Season 2. For sometime, there were rumors doing rounds that the host Salman Khan will be replaced by the Slumdog Millionaire fame Anil Kapoor. But then, the producers are now clear that they wanted to encash the popularity of Salman and are certain to rope him again as the host for Dus Ka Dum Season 2.
The best part of Dus Ka Dum is that Salman is able to get a good connect with the viewers and it’s not a mundane quiz program we know of lately which warrant some knowledge. With terms such as Chaap do, Salman is able to get close to mass audience and he is able to enhance the comfort quotient of the contestants too. The producers reiterated that the format of DKD will remain more or less same and have plans to bring in all friends of Salman every now and then. The new season of Dus Ka Dum 2 will start after the end of JDJ season 3, maybe around June 2009, although exact dates will be revealed later.
The show made Salman Khan very popular amongst the female audience and his fans could see the other side of the star. The contestants that included even lower middle and middle class old and young people thoroughly enjoyed company of the star and it was visible in the TRP charts.
Salman, who had earlier charged 89 crores for 104 episodes of “Dus Ka Dum”, had asked for an increase of Rs 44 crores which somehow failed to materialize. It is believed that for the second season of “Dus Ka Dum 2″ Salman has cut down his price in order to be to be a part of the popular game show.

On May 25th Episode Broadcast (in the very first episode of Dus Ka Dum 2)Kareena Kapoor and her elder sister Karisma Kapoor will reportedly appear on the second season of Salman Khan’s television show Dus Ka Dum 2.
