The SpikeTV will be starting the broadcast evening 8 pm East Coast Time (8 P.M ET) with 18th edition of Fight Night.
The card has first WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit taking on Martin Kampmann. You can expect some electrifying action for sure when Danish Kampmann has a 14-2 record overall and is 5-1 in UFC event, his only loss was against Nathan Marquardt. However, this will be Kampmann’s debut at welterweight.
Condit’s record is 22-4, and this is; however, his UFC debut.
The live Fight Night event cannot be missed because UFC will start the card of 12 bouts at 4pm and it’s under card has 8 matches, and the Matt Horwich and Ricardo Almeida’s bout will be of great interest definitely.
The Fight Night broadcast is planned to be used as lead in for premier episode of reality series’ 9th season ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, and it starts at 11 pm on the SpikeTV. The theme now is team from US taking on team from UK in what is billed as first ever country versus country storyline for the series. The series will be aired until June 2009.
