Goa, a state with rich flora and fauna, is the smallest state of India. It is situated at the westerns coast of India spread across the beautiful beaches of Arabian sea. It was ruled by the Portuguese until 1981, when it was liberated by the Indian army and became the 25th state of India. It has only two districts namely North Goa and South Goa, having Panji and Margoa as the respective headquarters. Panji is also the capital of the State. The local language spoken is Konkani as well as English is also very common.

Goa is famous for its beaches and hospitality. Tourism being one of the major industries, Goa is the favorite destination of thousands of international as well as domestic tourists. It offers beautiful beaches, grand Churches, Temples and Mosques and mouth watering feasts which still has a delicious affect of its Portuguese history.
