tamil-naduTamil Nadu is in the southern most part of India. It is also known as Madras. It is bordered by Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The mane “Tamilnadu” represents the local habitants called Tamils. The language spoken here is also called Tamil, known as the origin of all other languages spoken in southern India. The Tamil civilization is said to be one of the oldest classical civilizations of world. Tamilnadu is the most urbanized state having the highest number of business enterprises in India. Its Capital Chennai is one of the biggest cities of India. Home for a unique ancient culture, rich literature, great temples and beautiful beaches, it is also a prominent player in national politics. Tamil Nadu would go for polls on 13th May.
