Rajasthan is the largest state of Indialocated at the western border. It was formed on 30 March 1949. Once known as Rajputana, Rajasthan is the land of Rajpoots, famous for their bravery and grace. The state capital is Jaipur. The major industries are agriculture and postral. The commonly spoken language is Rajasthani, which is very close to Hindi. Most of the state comprise of waste deserts, making it the driest state of India. It receives less than 400 mm rain per year.
Rajasthan is a state of royal and colorful culture. The special cloths called “Bandhni” is produced here. Also the folk jewelry, attire, feast, every thing about the habitants is fascinating and beautiful. The never lasting mounts of golden sand and ancient Hawelis with uncountable windows have been attracting visitors from all over the world.
