mp1Madhya Pradesh is also known as heart of India. As the name suggests, it is located in the central region of country. The neighbouring states are Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Bhopal is the capital of the state, named after Raja Bhojpal. Though rich in natural and human resources and , it is also facing the worst  malnutrition problems in the world according to India State Hunger Index. The main corps are soyabean, rice, jowar, wheat, pulses (legumes), groundnuts, linseed, and cotton. The major industries are oil, processing of sugar and the manufacture of cotton textiles, newsprint, pottery, cement, carpets, silk, rayon, jute, glass, steel, and electrical engineering goods. The official language is Hindi, although many dialects like Bagheli, Bundelkhandi, Malvi are spoken by locals. It has two major national parks Kanha and Bandhavagar famous for tigers, also the fascinating heritage sites of khajuraho and sanchi making it one of the finest tourist destinations.
