Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds bid adieu to American Idol
Anoop Desai is considered one of the favorites by the judges in the season, but he seemed lacking public favor all the time with few votes. He sang today ‘Dim all the lights’ only to dim his chances maybe.
Anoop looked disappointed and he says so too. Also Lil Rounds is out of the contest. We will see both Anoop and Lil Rounds’ merged video and it will be just great to see that.
I myself loved Anoop and his voice, but never once felt that he had chosen the right song for his voice. Maybe his poor choices kicked him off the American Idol show. We now have 5 finalists remaining: Adam Lambert right on top, Kris Allen and Danny Gokey and then Matt Giraud and Allison Iraheta. Matt though will have a tough time to pull himself to the final group and the grand finale is just in a month from now.
Something Adam has going for him (besides a ton of raw talent) is that he doesn’t do the irrelevant, distracting hand gestures the other contestants like to do
