Great cricketing action awaits at ICC World Twenty20 2009

icc world twenty20 2009The ICC World Twenty20 2009 (in short ICC WT20 2009) will once again be held the second time.

It will be the world event for Twenty20 integrating both men’s and women’s competitions for the first time ever. It will be played with 12 teams among men’s tournament and 8 teams among women’s tournament.

England will be the venue for ICC World Twenty20 2009 and will be staged in June 2009. Lords, The Oval, and Trent Bridge will be the stages for some electrifying excitement from men’s teams and Taunton would be the venue for hosting women’s competitions.

It was after the super hit of the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 series that went on in South Africa during late 2007. This year’s event too will be for two weeks and renders opportunity for viewers and fans to catch some great cricketing action from the best cricketers of the world.

Most of the match days will have 2 matches played, so we can see 4 teams playing. So spectators will have two to tango for the price of one match.
