Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings

Ah! what a match it had been the other day between Kolkata Kight Riders and Rajasthan Royals? I believe it cant’ get any better than a super over thriller. But if Yashpal Singh of KKR played a little more sensibly, it would have been another result for the Knight Riders. I still loved the efforts of senior player Saurav Ganguly. He took the team to the brink of victory. But I honestly felt that KKR is not a balanced side. Barring the first few, rest of them look to me like fillers and not great performers. Sanjay Bangar is worthless and he needs to play to justify his inclusion.

Chennai Super Kings on the other hand, have been experiencing mixed bag of results and although they played well in the last match against Delhi Daredevils, they played very well and it had been a team effort (no wonder Dhoni’s motivation). Matthew Hayden already won the Orange cap and he will be piling up runs tomorrow’s match as well.

Neither Gayle nor McCullum are playing up to their potential so far. They need to do or die in tomorrow’s tie with the Chennai Super Kings at Cape Town. I didn’t find Ajanta Mendis as perfect alternative to Kamran Khan (RR) and maybe there should be some reshuffling in the camp for final 11.

    Hei,

You said right! Sanjay Bangar is worthless! KKR management tracks the whip on non performers and sends them back home! They included Bhangar and Akash Chopra.

By the way, is Sanjay Bhangar the covert in KKR team? I have my own reasons to believe that he might be!
