Jenson Button of Great Britain wins a thriller of a race at Bahrain. It is the first time he won the race here in the desert and tells his Brawn team that he will got to Europe with some good points the season.

The desert track looked well maintained and F1 Bahrain Grand Prix is the first GP that’s held in the Middle East.

While yesterday pole position was claimed by Toyota’s Jarno Trulli for the Bahrain Grand Prix race day, (mind you it’s the third time he has given Toyota a top start position in this season), it’s the Briton who pulled off from holding nerves. The scorching temperatures of the track did not let him loose on the throttle.

Jarno Trulli had to be satisfied finishing third in the race. The Chinese Grand Prix winner, Germany’s S Vettel finished second in the race winning some good points for team Red Bull.

The Brit, Jenson Button surprisingly owns a home in Durrat Al-Bahrain and that implies a Bahrainian wins the race for the first time. With this win Brawn’s driver Jenson claims his third Formula 1 win in this season (mind you, he started fourth on the grid).

Fellow Brit Lewis Hamilton comes fourth.
