Samsung takes off the veil off its first Android-based handset. Yes! The Samsung I7500 phone is officially launched.

The Google Android-powered device I7500 has been unmasked by O2’s German concern that reiterated it has the I7500.

As of now, it is still unclear about the launch of I7500 in UK but I don’t see any reason why the sale of the Android phone from Samsung will be restricted in Germany.

Apart from the Google Android OS characteristics, the new Samsung I7500 supports a 3G bandwidth (HSDPA), and GSM/GPRS/Edge connectivity. Besides, supporting 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 and. The handset has an in-built GPS.

I7500 looks cool with 3.2 inches and 320 x 480 touch-sensitive screen display. It comes with a 5Mp camera with a strong LED flash and a 3.5 mm audio jack. You can record videos – with any desired format that include H.264, MPEG 4 and a WMV.

On this new I7500 you can listen to several audio formats like MP3, AAC and WMA. The small handset in its entirety comes to a size of 115 x 56 x 11.9 mm with a wow memory and internal storage of 8GB. That’s not end of it; it is designed to accept micro SD card of 32GB memory.

For now, the new Samsung I7500 Android phone will woo the German users come June. As for price, it is not announced as yet.
