We have seen RR applying brakes on DD’s winning run and now can Delhi Daredevils apply the same brakes on the currently number one team Deccan Chargers? We can expect some high-charged cricketing action when the two teams Deccan Chargers and Delhi Daredevils meet in SuperSport Park, Centurion at Pretoria tomorrow.
The opening partnership between Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir is certainly a bothering pain in the camp of DD. Could tomorrow be their day? I still loved the effort by the tailenders who carried the mettle and gave decent defending total when they played the Rajasthan Royals. I am not too sure about the bowling moves by Sehwag. There were quite a few fielding lapses too especially in the yesterday’s match and if they have to win against the Deccan Chargers they need to make up all these lapses.
For DC, though, this will be a match which will test their strength against equals. I don’t see one reason why they cannot win this one. Both batting and bowling departments, they have been doing some amazing job with RP Singh being highest wicket grabber, and if there is anything to improve, it will be their fielding. I was mentioning in one of my earlier previews that DC bowling looked one dimensional but after their series of matches, I withdraw that statement and they are just fine for the team. VeterUns like Gilly and Gibbs will treat our retinas for sure with their sixes and fours. A cracker of a match on cards so don’t miss.
