Shahrukh Khan to sell Kolkata Knight Riders Team for Rs. 600 Crores
Shah Rukh Khan Will Sell His KKR team if someone offers Rs. 600 Crores

ShahRukh Khan would have never known what pressure felt like until he purchased KKR. He’d invested Rs. 300 crores and its no silly money; that apart annual cost of Kolkata Knight Riders team is around 75 crores and although it had achieved a profit of 10+ crores in the IPL season 1, it’s the team performance that is not encouraging the actor to put in so much money.
Team’s continued dismal performance in DLF IPL 2009 seems to have run his patience out and although he looked smiling from the stands, one can measure the amount of pain he must be enduring in the stands cheering his mediocre team.
It seems nothing going well even after change in captaincy of KKR team. Irony is that after Saurav Ganguly had been stripped off his captaincy he had been performing better and the new captain Brendon McCullum who SRK and management thought will bring some cheering results had not been able to score a double digit figure at least once. Besides these, there has been increasing hate mail and the anonymous blogger issue that added salt to the injury. SRK left South Africa with disappointment and came back to India to exercise his vote. But sources close to the actor say that he is very unhappy about the team and is contemplating on selling KKR.
According to Business Standards, SRK is holding talks with interested prospects to sell the company. As of now, Sahara, Anil Ambani Group and Nokia are holding talks with the star. Rumors say that he is asking for over 600 crores as a deal for his team.
But talks like these in between the tournament could actually shatter team’s morale and in turn their performance.
