Tour of Singapore: Singapore Zoo

After watching about the Singapore Zoo on TV for a long time, it was more than obvious that it would be at the top of “my things to do” list.
When I reached the zoo, after a long journey(10 mins- bus, 18 mins- train, 16 mins- train, 45 mins – bus) , I could see a sea of people, which to me atleast was very disappointing as I always like places which are not crowded.
Then I made my way up to the ticket counter and bought a Park Hopper ticket. This ticket costs $45 and includes admission to the Singapore Zoo, Singapore Night Safari and the Jurong Bird Park and saves you $13 in admission fees against buying tickets for the 3 parks separately.
Once inside the zoo, I was really happy with the way the zoo was planned. There were no cages in the zoo. Effectively free ranging animals separated by natural and man made boundaries.
For people who don’t like to walk, the authorities provide tram service to help you explore the zoo.
I would like to provide more info about the animals, but that would take the suspense away before the visit.
One Special Mention: Don’t miss that Splash Show. It’s Damn Awesome.
