Live IPL Preview: Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians – May 14th 2009

mi vs rr live ipl score

Mumbai Indians are on a high after 2 successive wins despite being under pressure and when they meet the Rajasthan Royals for the first time in IPL 2009 they will play for a win. The previous match had been washed off due to rain.

Shane Warne is being ruled out of the match as he is still nursing a hamstring injury and the team coming is after a big margin loss against the Deccan Chargers. But these must have infused some inspiration too to prove their worth and why they are champions. Swapnil Asnodkar is a great find and he will need some guidance to become a great talent. Graeme Smith will look to come back and he will captain the side I guess in the absence of Warne and the team must have introspected well and trained to face another encounter tomorrow with Mumbai Indians.

For Mumbai Indians though a win will ensure them great chance to feature in semi finals and Sachins come back is something that the team is looking forward to and pushing Dwayne Bravo to open the innings did click well for MI and it is these calculated risks that’ll sometimes pay well. Sachin went one down to steady the innings, but luckily the two could steer MI to victory when they played Kings XI Punjab. The soft ball ability Lasith Malinga has makes him a bowler who cannot be played and JP Duminy contributing with willow and ball is plus to Sachin and I predict a MI victory tomorrow if they execute their game plan well.
