Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor to star in Siddharth Anand’s next

ranbir priyanka rom-com

Priyanka Chopra is steadily progressing to be the top female movie star of the country and Ranbir Kapoor has assumed fresh guard but quite lavishly at that. They are set to create a magical chemistry of sorts when they bind for a flick worked along the rom.com line.

Director Siddharth Anand is teaming up with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for dishing out to this mouth-watering venture. Earlier, it was Saif who was chosen for the role but certain date problems later, the work has been transferred to Ranbir Kapoor. “One India” has first brought reports of Priyanka getting aboard the rom-com ship. Funnily, the entire cast is still being talked off in a hushed-up tone.

We all have our gaze fixed at Priyanka Chopra as she leaps to further justify her Filmfare Trophy (Fashion), she has Kaminey lined up next, and the movie will explore her chemistry with hitherto untried Shahid Kapoor. Having worked alongside the three Khans and other industry veterans like Akshay and Hrithik, it is plausible to believe that the dynamite girl will carry the burden of an inexperienced male lead on her shoulders rather well.

Siddharth Anand has been infected by the zeal of this genre and he has already made some fine movies in the rom.com.line. This movie, he believes would not be any trendsetter of sorts, just another romantic comedy with a lot more of “twang and jazz”.

Here is wishing that the Deepika boy settles well to the Priyanka fare.
