IPL 2009 Winners – IPL Season 2 Trophy Results
IPL 2 – Indian Premier League Winners
Deccan Chargers are DLF IPL 2009 Winners
DLF IPL 2009 Final Match at Johannesburg on Sunday, 24 May 2009, 8:00 PM IST will decide the Indian Premier League 2009 Winner.
Delhi Daredevils: This is Viru or Virender Sehwag’s team with some
very good combination of experience and young talent. Although this time it missed the aggression of Pakistan players it there are seasoned campaigners in Daniel Vettori, Gautam Gambhir, and Ashish Nehra and lately Dinesh Karthik coming back to form is a big plus. They play with attitude and true cricketing spirit. Although there have been some losses, the team is a strong contender for winning IPL 2009 title.
Chennai Super Kings: The team looks one of the very impressive ones
with handful of talent as well as star power. It has experienced players like Hayden who is playing well in every match and with a captain like MS Dhoni any franchise can rest assured to have great show. His current form although is not amazing, he can still prove most valuable on his day. Muralitharan, Jacob ram, Michael Hussey and Makhaya Ntini (didn’t play yet) add strength and solidity to this team. It has all qualities to clinch the title
Deccan Chargers: One of the no-hopers of IPL 2008 surprised everyone
this DLF IPL 2009 season. Change in captaincy changed the way it played and they are now a team with electrifying charge and spirit under Adam Gilchrist. Symonds joining late still proved that he can add immense value to the team. There are again West Indies’ Dwayne Smith and Fidel Edwards. Pragyan Ojha is a new found and is performing very well.
Kings XI Punjab: Although inconsistency has been a ruing thing for the team captain Yuvraj Singh, he hopes to overcome and perform well in the forthcoming matches. Sreesanth has come back to a nice rhythm which is a plus and availability of fast bowler Brett Lee can only send signals of scare to the opponents. English all rounder Ravi Bopara and West Indian pacer Jerome Taylor aren’t available for all matches and Bubbly franchise co-owner Priety Zinta will hope for their best.
Rajasthan Royals: They came with very high expectations and with people
watching them closely, they fumbled in some matches. They also are missing the Pakistan pacer Sohail Tanvir and Aussie all rounder Shane Watson. But one cannot rule out the fact that the biggest asset to Rajasthan Royals team is the immensely talented Coach and Captain Shane Warne who built a cohesive unit out of small unidentified national players. The players minus the big star is a big zero, but the players with their loyalty to perform under their captain-coach makes this team one of the best.
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Vijay Mallya surely tried to impress
bringing in captaincy change. The team now doesn’t look like a test squad even though it has veterans like Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and Jacques Kallis playing. In fact, Kevin Pieterson left IPL 2009 half way around and it is Anil Kumble who is reviving the team with superb bowling performance. Ross Taylor is playing very well and so Jesse Ryder. Praveen Kumar adds strength to bowling. If you think that this is batsmen rich, you are wrong they won some on batting and some games by bowling. It will be interesting to watch how the team of experienced lot will invent ways to win the IPL 2009 title.
Take the poll and have your say as to which team will take the title of IPL 2009 Champions!;

Ola Guys,
IPL is rigged guys . . .the results are all fixed . . .
The IPL 2009 winners are going to be either Chennai/Bangalore . . .
As per a very trusted source in South africa, the crucial matches are all fixed . . . TRUST ME ON THIS !
if u say the matches are fix, u dont have a good taste of watching cricket, can u tell us the winner of today, the closed matches so far we have seen are simply awesm, i cong to the ipl mangment for conducting such a wondrful tournament. well done keep up the good work.
what i feel about the todays match, if banglore is able to get out glksrt early, they are going to win it, and if gibbs or gily are thunering there, bangl will not have any place to cover,
With the Form that I see the Royal Challengers Bangalore in, they are gonna grab the Trophy with a Spectacular Win especially from their Recent Batting that I have witnessed. RCB Wins today for sure. And if RCB wins it ain’t match fixing for sure. If DC wins, then probably may be
IPL is fixed. Isn’t it funny that the two bottom teams of 2008 are in the final now? What a quick turnaround! Bangalore will win the cup because it has a sympathy factor to it. I can go on and on about why it is fixed, lots of reasons and a source in the TV broadcast team.
IPL is fixed. they do it so that attention is drawn because bottom teams winning and top teams losing its all for the money
