Susan Boyle’s Britain’s Got Talent Performance, a hit for BGT
Susan Boyle, the 61-year-old Scottish singer may have lost the Britain’s Got Talent finals, but she will remain a winner in the hearts of Brits. It requires so much to sing singly challenging a troupe aged between 12 and 25 years. She had done that and maybe she was not good enough to impress the BGT judges on the stage, the world will love Susan more for what she had done.
Wearing a shimmery gown that is of floor length she once again rendered the same song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ that she sang first in the show. She sang flawless, though but the transformer dance routine by Diversity overwhelmed the British viewers who voted the team as the winner of Britain’s Got Talent.
It takes a lot of courage and hard work to better a team of dozen’s dance and she tried. Maybe she’s not winner of the BGT 2009 (the American Idol equivalent in Britain) but she won a place in millions of people’s hearts and we will see and hear Susan Boyle more than ever before. She kind of become another cliché for Scotland, ain’t? Scottish Susan Boyle. Indeed she had become a brand name and another reason for tourism to Scotland if I am not exaggerating.
Lovely Susan Boyle and Julian Smith both accepted their defeat with grace. Susan had been a favorite with the bookies to win the BGT, but she clapped and said, “the best people won. They are very entertaining lads. Lads, I wish you all the best”. And Julian Smith quoted of saying “at least I got to be chief bridesmaid this time.”
