French Open 2009: Rafael Nadal defeated Robin Soderling‎

Robin Soderling celebrating a point against Rafael Nadal

Soderling storms past Rafael Nadal in the fourth round of French Open Tennis 2009 at Rolland Garros today just a while back.

In what is a shocker of a match the Swedish born, 23-seed Robin Soderling wins against undisputed clay court king and Spanish superstar Rafael Nadal.

The match went on for more than 150 minutes and Soderling played some beautiful forehand volleys.

On the other hand, for Rafael Nadal, who had been enjoying continuous wins at Rolland Garros, he gets a break after 31 consecutive wins here.

Soderling had played a matured tennis of his life, never allowing pressure to take over his game even in the fourth set which went to a tiebreaker. He kept his nerves calm to clinch a nail biting finish.
