SD Rancher, Neal Wanless, is now mega millionaire. US had found out its latest Powerball jackpot winner and a mega millionaire today. He is a rancher from remote South Dakota plains.
Neal Wanless, the 23-year-old rancher had won for himself $232.1 millions Powerball jackpot, which is the indeed one of the largest jackpots.
Neal Wanless was introduced at ceremony in Pierre. He was seen donning a cowboy hat, jeans and shirt.
After the win, SD rancher Neal Wanless was quoted of saying, “winning the Powerball is something I have always dreamt about, but did not think would happen.”
He also thanked God and said that he will not squander the fortune he had got.
Surprising many it was 23 seconds to change the fortune of Neal Wanless and make him $232.1 million richer.
He got the ticket from an Ampride store when he went to purchase feed for his cattle. The store is in a small town in South Dakota some 30 miles far from his home
According to the state lottery officials the ticket matched all the five white balls and the Powerball with a combination of 5-16-6-21-12 and the 7 Powerball and the combination numbers are matching the day and month of birthdays of Neal Wanless family members.
Neal had fallen behind in taxes and he had his mobile home repossessed in the recent times so the lottery money will bail him out of his financial crunches and he told he will people in his community.
Neal Wanless also expressed he will continue to do his present occupation of ranching maybe he will now do so on owned larger plot.
In this year it was the second time already for people from the Mission area to win won something big. Earlier Christina and Tom Yellow Boy from the Mission won the $200,000 Powerball lottery during April. They took the ticket at a truck stop in the Rapid City, South Dakota.
