Stanford computer professor Rajeev Motwani found dead
Rajeev Motwani, the name doesn’t need any introduction ane Rajeev is known to be one person behind Google.
Rajiv Motwani who is also a renowned professor of computer science in the Stanford University was the mentor behind Google’s creation. He was found dead on Saturday after apparently drowning in his pool.
Rajeev Motwani was highly revered by his students at the Stanford University and he was the mentor for one of the Google’s co-founders. The 47-year-old computer science professor was found dead after he drowned at his home pool in Atherton. Apparently Rajeev Motwani did not know how to swim.
Google co-founder Sergey Brin was quoted of saying that Rajeev Motwani’s mentoring and counsel played a big part in his Research and Development as well as education. Rajeev’s death is a big blow to Silicon Valley and he is highly respected for his never-too-busy-to-assist-a-student nature. He mentored several companies starting up to have a foothold in the Silicon Valley, Google is one.
