The Nokia 5530 Xpress Music resembles its forerunner Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in many ways, but it will be much more affordable as it is priced quite cheaper than Nokia 5800 and its style will appeal to the teenagers segment. It is a cheaper alternative to the iPhone for the mid-tier customer segment.
With a 2.9 inch touchscreen display, the company officials claim that this device is a great music player with superlative audio quality and memory storage of up to 4GB. You can purchase through Nokia Music Store and can be well managed with this little device.
The core competency of Nokia 5530 Xpress Music is great music entertainment and music can be conveniently heard with Nokia Stereo Headset WH-205. While you listen to the music you can snap your friends with 3.2 megapixel camera equipped with LED flash. Other features include proximity sensor and accelerometer sensor.
With a single touch on the homescreen of the handset you can access contents and get connected to social networks such as MySpace and Facebook. Even online sharing applications such as Flickr and Ovi are just one touch operations in this handset.
However, the handset doesn’t sport a GPS and there is also no UTMS/HSDPA support and it supports though the EDGE/GSM networks.
The handset comes in 5 cool colors and if you can’t afford an iPhone now you can own this one for a cheapie price sure! There are a few who will wriute it off as one music player that can used as phone too.

But isn’t the 5800 cheaper right now? I can get one for under 280.00 from Dell. I don’t get why someone would buy this phone for the same (or less) price of a 5800 with all the bells and whistles.

i heard that the nokia 5530 is less in price and has no pgs, is that so ?

i really wanna know whether or not i should buy nokia 5800 as i am very confused..i’ve heard that it’s not at all responsive(touchscreen) and the phone is very slow…is it true…please someone tell me!! i am in love with this phone!!!
