Michael Jackson Funeral Set for Tuesday at Staples Center. While it is confirmed that MJ’s funeral to take place on July 7th , his funeral plans are still very sketchy and uncertain.

Based on CNN report, people are being told that the funeral of the King of Pop will be held on July 7th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. As of now, Michael Jackson’s body is kept at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park and speculations to bury him at his Neverland Ranch have been ruled out with authorities declining it. The reason being California State rules and regulations does not allow any burial outside the cemetery. Nothing can penetrate this red tape and so MJ’s last rites will have to be at Los Angeles only.

Speculations that Michael Jackson will never again return to Neverland ranch has disappointed millions of his fans. But, wherever it would be, MJ’s funeral is expected to draw millions of mourners and is expected to surpass the number that lined up on Elvis Presley’s or even Princess Diana’s funeral ceremony.

However, Quincy Jones who helped MJ launch his career has been heard not to attend MJ’s funeral as he has been reported saying that it will be extremely difficult and almost impossible for him to be a part of the funeral. He was very close to Jackson and he believes the height of greatness that was achieved with him in the 80s can never happen again in the world of music. Instead of being a part in the funeral he chose to write a blog for LA Times in memory of Jackson.

Besides his hysteric fans Michael Jackson’s funeral is expected to include celebrity mourners such as Elizabeth Taylor, Paul McCartney and many more. Though his family wants it to be a private affair but it would be impossible to keep his fans away.
