Jennifer’s body is a potential nerve-tingler in true sense. Written by Diablo Cody, it has all the making of a diabolical potboiler with demons and exorcism. It is a horror story set to release on 18th September, and stars Megan Fox in the main role. Her character is expected to be seedy going by the look of things. It is directed by Karyn Kusama.

Megan plays a cheerleader who becomes a victim of Nikolai Wolf’s black magic strategies. Played by the reliable Adam Brody, Nikolai is an expert in calling the demons from the oblivion and tormenting children through them. One such demon enters Jennifer’s (Megan) body and the tale starts from there. She begins eating little kids and the gore becomes too heavy to digest. It is then that her best friend Needy (played by Amanda Seyfriend) takes track of the situation by taking Jennifer to the task and registers her into a rehabilitation process.

Task ahead is not easy as Needy has to lock horns with Nikolai and his power house rock band in their domain. It is to be seen whether she gets appropriate help from Jennifer or not. There should be plenty of twists, turns, bloodshed and unexpected horror in the scenes that are mainly nightmarish and shot in the wee hours of the night.

Like Omen and Exorcist, Jennifer’s body has the skeletal framework to be made into sequels and so on. It all depends on the success of the movie produced by Dubiecki, Novick and Reitman.
