Microsoft to fight out stakes in market share of operating system. According to news posted in New York Times website and Ars Technica, an online technology news service, it is known that Google is soon to launch an operating system based on its Chrome web browser.
Microsoft Corp is the clear market leader and has a sheer stronghold on the field of operating system. Its Windows operating system is the key factor for all power and profit of Microsoft. Personal computing experience is largely dominated by Microsoft. It is here that Google is aiming to tilt the balance to its favor.
It is the netbooks that is getting increasingly popular amongst the budget-conscious customers. The main aim of Google Inc is to design operating system for netbooks and to usher in a new era of low-cost web surfing experience.
With time, the tussle between Google and Microsoft is increasing. Google has a sheer dominance in the field of search engine, and Microsoft is trying to pose competition with its latest upgraded search engine Bing. It has been known that the chrome OS will run on the top of a Linux kernel and in a new windowing system. Google has already introduced the operating system Android for its mobile phone devices.
