Sourav Ganguly to become BCCI President
8th of July turned out to be a big day for the Prince of Kolkata-Sourav Ganguly. Not only is the 37th birthday celebrated in style at his Behala residence, but he may also try to be the BCCI chief in next 5 years time.
To be the BCCI chief by 2014 is not just a birthday wish, infact it is a realistic possibility. This time it is East Zone’s turn to put up a candidate for the best job of BCCI, marking an end to a long-term era of Jagmohan Dalmiya.
It has only been 8 months of retirement from international cricket but Dada is all set to play the second innings in a different pitch. He is keen in joining cricket administration and also wishes to make positive difference in Bengal cricket. He knows to contest for the top job; the entry point begins with CAB.
He will take it slow and meet up with all the criteria to contest for BCCI’s top post.
