Looks like once-a-rage 5 MP camera phones will soon be a history. And 2009 has been a year of big boys or the 8 MP camera phones.
But, as we see there is a quantum jump from 8-MP cameras to further bigger configuration ones from Sony and Samsung.
This inspired LG to come up with their new 12-MP on the block and the new camera phone LG GC990 has come out of wraps.
According to sources the new LG GC990 camera phone has HD video recording feature at a speed of 30 fps and at the maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The camera comes with Xenon flash and auto focus features. The Schneider-Kreuznach optics is another interesting feature that the camera uses beside the Intelli Zoom feature. The ISO and geo tagging are usual features though with this camera. The 3.2-inch touchscreen display makes viewing videos and pictures all the more pleasurable.
The new LG GC990 12-MP camera phone also comes with the following features:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth enabled
- Xvid and DivX for video playing
- GPS with an A-GPS support
- TV out feature
The new camera phone has come out of covers, but the company has not disclosed on the pricing of this handset as yet.
