Bring in the new year right! Bring in 2010 with Avatar! If you haven’t already, check out one of the best animation action films of 2009! After being in theatres for 3-4 weeks now, Avatar is still at the top of the blockbuster list! Ex-marine Jake, played by Sam Worthington, has been selected to participate in the Avatar program replacing his late twin brother whose avatar is compatible. During combat Jake was paralyzed from the waist down. Jake travels 4.3 light years away from Earth to Pandora. On the alien planet Jake has legs and can run and jump.
Wars are taking place on Pandora over the planet’s resources. Avatar finds himself torn between the two worlds. He ends up becoming closer to the Pandora natives and then fighting for his own survival. Along with Worthington you will find Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Rodriguez and Stephen Lang all starring in Avatar. Avatar is even available at some theaters in 3D! Make sure you see this awesome action animated film! The sci-fi experience is in theaters, Friday Dec. 18th 2009.
